Hey everyone!

I’m so so so sorry for the lack of work I’ve been putting up. I’ve been so busy! I recently got signed to M Model Mangement in LA, and thats been occupying alot of my time. Of course styling as well! One of my editorials I did got picked up by a magazine and is going to be on a cover too! I’m really excited about that! (ヘ。ヘ)Also, I’m working on a collection! If you guys have been following me for awhile, you know that from time to time I make clothes, and I use to call it “zozocouture” haha. A name I coined when I first started designing clothes for humans when I was about 12. So now I’m dropping the “couture” part and just going to name it “ZoZo”. Even thought it has some sort of demonic back story to it o.O I don’t care! It’s my nick name my mom gave me since I was little and I like it (ヘ。ヘ). What do you guy’s think? I know its late to be working on Fall/Winter stuff, but oh well. I’m doing it anyways ∩(︶▽︶)∩

Other than that, I really miss blogging, I am going to try to do it more. Talking with my old friend olivia (Lust for Life) I realize I really need to get back into the swing of things. She does so many things and still blogs. I think it’s amazing, and I need to follow that same motivation! ヽ(^Д^)ノ

anyways, I hope you all have been well! and thankyou so much for still coming to my blog and leaving all your nice comments! means alot!

Soooooo It’s been awhile! I know I know (/。\)!!!! I’m so sorry! I’ve set goals for myself though to be more attentive! I just get so distracted with so many things… Going to castings, styling models, coordinating shoots, designing clothes, creating my comic “sawdust”, cooking, cleaning, taking care of my dog, running my online vintage store, and on top of it all I always have to play my video games…. hahaha. (╯︵╰,)

So I’m trying to create these goals to post at least 3 times a week, and to post some tutorials and reviews in video form as well 3 times a month… I’m going to try my hardest! ( ;`ヘ´)

Anyways, my outfit was spur of the moment, I just wanted to document it! my hair has gotten so long! It’s so bizarre to think that its been over a year since I first cut it! Oh also it was my birthday on the 28th of august! and then it was Scott’s on the 6th of september! and then we had a party for both of us on the 9th, which also ended up being our anniversary! wooo! I can’t beleive its been a year! I am so happy with him! I can’t explain enough! (I have been explaining to everyone I’ve met haha)

Oh also! I wanted to tell you guys about this giveaway/contest Romwe.com is having!

So you can get a chance to win a party dress from Romwe’s Facebook! There are 5 winners everyday so the odds are really good! (´∇ノ`*)ノ But you can only enter from September 9th to October 10th! so get going! Open world wide !
For additional rules and to join please click here!

I hope you all are having a wonderful week!

Hey everyone! So these are kind of older photos from the beginning of this year… (you can tell by my hair length!) none the less though, I love them ♡^▽^♡! I did this for a BearCat LA and I really love the cowboy look, I mean I’m writing/drawing a western comic book! (○゜ε^○) It’s defiantly a different more sexy-er look for me (⌒_⌒;)… But I really love these photos ( ^∇^)

Some updates on life and such, modeling is going well, castings and jobs here and there. Same with styling. I feel like I should be paid to coordinate shoots, I’m always doing it for people, ヾ( ̄0 ̄; )ノit takes up so much battery on my phone haha. I’m working more on my line “ZoZo” ! I’m really excited, I’m even thinking of the video I’m going to do for it! keep your eyes peeled for sneek peeks!

I’ve been getting booked on a lot of modeling jobs lately so I’ve been really busy needless to say >,

Anyways, I really wanted to share this lookbook with you guys!!! I couldn't be more happy about how it all came out! Rodellee ( the owner of Adored Vintage) is an amazing person! She has so much high energy and motivation to accomplish what she sets out to do! Every time I meet with her I feel like I learn so much about vintage clothing! She really is passionate about it! Needless to say, the shoot was a lot of fun! And the photos are beautiful! I love how Rodellee styles so much! If you want to check out the full Adore Vintage Fall Lookbook please click here!

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all are having a really great and fun day! My Halloween post(s) are coming up tommorrow and Friday! So keep a lookout! I’m probably not doing anything tonight…just going to have some drinks and play resident evil 4 on the wii (wish it was RE 6 tho!)

I’ve been keeping really busy lately and a lot of opportunities come my way because of it I’ve noticed! It’s been a great month for me in October! I recently got asked by a Japanese magazine to submit a fall/winter style outfit to them to feature and publish me in! So this is part of that photo set! Me and Scott went in the mountains/hills of LA to go scout for upcoming shoots, and I got some photos in! ^^ I hope you guys like the outfit! I looooove the black cowboy hat I recently aquired! Its soooo sawdust!

Anyways hope you guys like my post! Really trying to keep posting!

Hey everyone! I wanted to share with you these awesome boots I just got! ((o(´∀`)o)) I can’t get enough of jelly pop’s new collection of boots for the fall and winter, these ones stood out to me a lot! I love the mixture of Japanese gyaru and French 60s in these boots! So my outfit had to be representational of that! It’s actually getting cold in LA! (((;゚д゚;))) So these boots have kept my shins and feet very warm (*´∀`*) I don’t actually have a lot of knee high boots so these were pretty interesting to figure out how to style with! I’m really happy about the end result! Tell me what you guys think? I hope you all are having a great week!

Hey everyone! Hope everyones 2013 has been well! I’ve been severely sick for the past two weeks and it’s really made it hard to do much of anything I couldn’t even play video games! I missed ALA (an anime expo) which was a huge bummer (((*>д

Anyways! On to my post… About a month ago I took a very hectic and long trip to the middle of no where for a shoot! We went to this place called “Salvation Mountain” . I’ve seen the place many times before in various editorials and such (it’s a really hard place to shoot at btw). The story about it is a man was very inspired to make this mountain (it’s man made by one man) as a place of salvation, (hence the love Jesus and bible scriptures) he stayed there (it’s literally the middle of no where) for like the past 40 years I think just matenincing the mountain. Until this year he got too old to do so, so now a couple helps take care of the mountain. Behind the mountain there is a huge group of trailers of people just living out here. I assume because if salvation mountain… (there is like nothing out here) it was a really amazing experience. I’m not spiritual, but just the fact that this man dedicated most of his life to his artwork and what he believed in, is really beautiful and inspiring!

The photographer, Valerie Chiang, has a very cinematic approach to photography ( she is now going to USC for film school ) . I think it’s very appropriate for this location and series. We didn’t have hair and makeup so it was a very natural shoot, but of course the wardrobe had to be amazing! So I pulled some pieces from my favorite vintage store ever (adored vintage) even though all the dresses are from a different decade it still ties all in together I think. I’m just in love with the feeling in these photos… What do you guys think?

Hope everyone has been well!

Hey everyone!

So here’s a styling post by me! I really wanted to share it since I love it so much! Bryden is so awesome and has actually become a good friend! It’s funny everyone on the shoot ended up being a Virgo! So we all got along so well! We were going for a preppy vintage look so we went and shot it in the Pacific Palisades! It was kind of nerve racking since they have a lot of security in that area but it all worked out! And we got fish burritos after! ((o(´∀`)o))

I hope everyone is having a great week!

Hello all! I hope you all had a great weekend! My week was very busy (ノ∀`;) ! On Wednesday, I had a photo shoot for my blog. Thursday, I modeled for Flying Tomato. Friday, I had a styling gig. Saturday, I styled a beautiful new face at Ford, Romy Reiner (pics coming soon!) and I had a fitting for Deandri. Sunday I modeled for Deandri and Solestruck shoes! (Pics coming soon as well!) it was a really busy week but well worth it! I got a lot done and met a lot of amazing people! Haha and today I’m at home “relaxing” (which means doing everything I need to on the computer) anyways, enough about that! Onto my outfit post! ヾ(*゚ェ゚*)ノ

I had the pleasure to work with Sylvia Gunde once again (met her on a modeling job a few months ago ) and it was such a pleasant experience! (I can’t wait to hang out and play video games with her! ((o(´∀`)o)) ) I really love how the photos came out as well! They are so perfect and cute! I really like to wear stuff from the 80s, pastels were so big back then and I always find a lot of cool stuff from that time period! It’s so playful and fun! I think pairing it with the deandri’s helps to make the outfit a little more adult haha (although I do love my keds with this outfit!) (*>ω

Anyways, I hope everyone is having a good Monday!

Hello everyone! (ノ)゚∀゚(ヾ) I hope everyone’s week has been fantastic! I wanted to share with y’all this lookbook I modeled in! I was very excited when Deanna of Deandri asked me to model for her! I love her shoes so much! And she’s making a clothing line as well ( some of it photographed above) and I’m soooo excited for it! Not only that, it was also featured on Solestruck’s blog on which they created my blog!!! ∑(OωO ) that was really cool… The shoot itself was fun, I’m not much of a beach person (it gets so cold!) but Venice is always an interesting place to visit.

Deandri’s shoes are so cool! I hope you guys check them out! I got a pair of black oxfords recently that I just won’t take off (*ノ∀`*). ( and you guys have seen my white Olga’s a million times) and I like that they are uni-sex! I think that’s awesome..

Anyways, I hope you guys are having a wonderful day/week! Stay kawaii! (ω゚ェ^ω)

Hey everyone! So this one is a little different… Haha. I really got to have a lot of fun with this shoot! It’s really not for my American book for modeling… But it was so worth it ( ̄∀ ̄) for some of you that know me, my favorite color is pink, and my favorite word is probably “kawaii” (in the least annoying way possible) so this shoot was a match made in heaven! I’ve wanted to shoot against a pink background foreverrrr ヽ(≧▽≦)ノ! I’m really happy with how cute it came out! Please let me know what you guys think? ヽ(´∀`)ノ

Hello everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was very exciting, I got to go to “A Current Affair” show and get some lovely vintage pieces, and yesterday, I got to shoot with Claudia Susanna finally! And Style Lorena Maraschi again with Scott up in Vasquez rocks! So two shoots going on simultaneously in the desert (⌒-⌒; ) . It was important though because it was the last time I would see Lorena and her mother Lucy before she went back to brazil… (;_;) (and then she’s going to Tokyo! And then coming to either NY or LA for awhile at the end of the year! ^o^ ) I got to have a great day with them yesterday and we went to dinner at a very good Brazilian restaurant in Beverly Hills! It was so so good! It was sad to say our good byes after but they needed to catch their flight. Anyways! On to my outfit!

So I modeled for Deandri about a month ago, and I got these wonderful shoes that day! Deanna Richmond (the designer) is not only an amazingly innovative designer (with both shoes and clothing! She just produced her first Deandri line for F/W 2013/2014 this season!) she’s a really awesome person! Every time I hang out with her and learn something new, I respect her more and more (not to mention the obvious girl crush, I mean she’s just so pretty/cute/adorablzz qhahahqgsg!) with the fan girling aside, I take so much pride in wearing these shoes. I literally need to carry deandri’s business cards because I’m asked every time where these shoes are from (>人< ;) . So this outfit is sort of an “ode to Deanna” since it’s pretty similar to her personal style… Haha. I hope you guys like it! I’m really happy with these photos (^∇^)!

Hello everyone! I hope your week is going by well! I’ve been fairly busy with a few projects this week… Needless to say I’m very motivated and inspired!

Anyways, on to this beautiful shoot! I know I pic spammed you with this huge post, but I hope you enjoy all the lovely photos! I got the honor to model for my new friend Vanessa’s company “Creature of Habit“. Where she hand makes all these floral crowns! Some of them even light up! Vanessa also makes cosplay outfits (and very well might I add) so her fantasy/Japanese type influence is defiantly seen in her crowns and designs. Even just the placement on some of the headbands remind me of a creatures ears. I think it’s so adorable! The colors and flower types she uses really mesh together in a very cohesive collection for S/S 2013. I was very excited to see and model her new peices! I wanted to post this first with everyone in it, and later do more detailed outfit posts of my own sets. But for now you can see all the other wonderful ladies involved in this shoot! I made lots of new friends that day it was really nice! I can’t wait to meet up with them again! And just everyone looked so amazing! The location and just everything! So good! Which crown is your favorite?

If you haven’t already, please check out more of Creature of Habit here.

Hope you have a good one!

Hello everyone! Just wanted to share an editorial I did back in January for Cake! I really love working with Krystall! Not only is she beautiful, but she’s uber talented at everything she does, she’s intelligent and a great friend! I love hanging out with her ^^! This was just one of those shoots that was just very easy and fun! The atheistic is very much my taste, and everyone on the team is near and dear to me! We tried to go for a fun lolita type vibe, what do you guys think? Hope everyone has been well!!!

Hello everyone! How was your Easter?? I really should of taken more pictures of mine, in the evening I went to my friend Alanna’s birthday dinner/potluck which was a Mad Men style dress code. I spent like 3 hours on makeup and hair hahaha, it’s almost like cosplaying if you want to do it accurately as possible! I even did pin curls in my hair and brushed them out and everything! I really should of taken more pictures (−_−;). Anyways on to this outfit post!

If you saw my blog post prior to this onethen you already know what this is all about! I modeled for my new friend Vanessa Walton’s brand “Creature of Habit” (isent it a perfect name ? ). She hand makes each crown with a lot of love, creativity and imagination. I really like her placement of flowers, it really makes her crowns stand out. I’ve always had a strange affinity for blue roses though, I think they are very mystical looking, almost out of place. But at the same time they are just a rare breed of their kind. So this was the crown I chose to model (we got to choose which I think was a really good idea and made the shoot a lot more relaxed!) so I paired it with a favorite outfit of mine! I really think it goes well! What do you guys think? Hope you are all having a great day!!!

Hello everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I didn’t get much sleep this weekend. (; ̄ェ ̄)…. But it’s a good thing! I’ve defeated my creative block! I don’t know what’s been wrong with me lately, everything has been so work related. Too much e-commerce and lookbooks and all that jazz. I hung out with one of my cosplay friends Nicole (Yiri Cosplay) , and even though I live in the fashion district, she showed me all the cheap fabric and craft supply places around. I knew all these places were there, but I just always go straight to Michael Levine and straight home. The alley is not the most fun of places at times. Anyways, she was showing me all of these places, and she was so excited by such little things, and it really inspired me. I was like that before. Everything has become so business, blah, drab, the same old same old. I also got free reign on creative control (thank you Scott I love you!) on a shoot I styled this last Friday with one of my favorite models, Sophia Penske (@Next Model Management) . I got to style her super Japanese streetstyle and that was very fun! I didn’t have to care about a lot of things as far as contemporary styling goes. It was very stimulating and a fun time! That Saturday I finally got out a bunch of my sewing stuff and started working on some designs and cosplays, I had to go to bed at around midnight but couldn’t sleep for about 3 hours! (Despite styling a photoshoot the next day at 11am… …>_ when routine bites hard, bite it back ! (to mince the words of a certain lyricists…) anyways on with my blog post hahaha. (^_−)−☆

I got to shoot once again with the beautiful and awesome Miss Sylvia Gunde around Pasadena! It’s always a fun and inspiring time with her! Maybe it’s just because we are both hapa, but we get along so well! Haha. I really am glad I got to go back to my roots as a blogger and wear a completely Thrifted outfit, it represents my style so much! It was really fun trying to ride Sylvia’s sister’s old schwinn down the Colorado bridge too haha! (It had been an unfortunately long time since I’ve ridden a bike so it was quite awkward…) I think the photos came out super cute though! What do you guys all think?

Hope everyone has a great Monday!
